What we collect and why

When you use the enquiry form or the homepage contact form, we collect
the name, work email address, website, the option you select for what you
need, and any message you send. We also record your IP address and which
page you submitted from, to help prevent spam.

We use this information only to respond to your enquiry and, if we go on to
work together, to carry out that work. Lawful basis: taking steps at your
request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in
responding to business enquiries.

When you book a call, you are taken to Calendly, which collects the
information you enter there under its own privacy policy
(https://calendly.com/privacy). We receive the booking details you provide.

When you email us, we keep the email and your address to reply and for
our business records.

We do not use the website for advertising tracking and we do not currently
run analytics that identify you.

How your information is stored

Enquiries are saved in our website’s database, hosted by Hostinger, and are
also emailed to info@peptidewebagency.com, which is a Hostinger email
mailbox. Outgoing email is sent via an authenticated SMTP connection.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help
us run the site and our business:

• Hostinger — website hosting and email
• Calendly — call scheduling (only if you book a call)
• Google Fonts — the site loads fonts from Google’s servers, which means
  your IP address is visible to Google when the page loads

Some of these providers are based outside the UK/EEA (for example Calendly
in the United States). Where that happens, transfers are covered by the
UK/EU data protection framework or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and contact data for [e.g. 24 months] after our last
contact with you, then delete it, unless we have entered into a contract,
in which case we keep records for as long as required for legal and
accounting purposes (usually 6 years).

Cookies

The site uses only essential cookies needed for it to work and to serve
pages quickly (via our caching system). It does not set advertising or
analytics cookies. If that changes we will update this policy and ask for
your consent where required.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about
you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use
it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email
info@peptidewebagency.com.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at
ico.org.uk if you are unhappy with how we have handled your data.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “last updated” date at the top shows the
current version.
